Susan (Hennigan) Leiphart, of Paradise Valley was born on October 4, 1926 to Ruth and L. O. Stocker of St. Louis, MO. She died in her home Friday, July 18, 2014.

Susan was an early member of Paradise Valley Country Club upon her family''s move from Clayton, MO. on December 8, 1958. She was a member of the Desert Saddlebag Club, founder of the Paradise Valley Investment Club, a member of the Sacred Heart Society, an part owner of the Nantucket Lobster Trap restaurant, and a longtime sales associate of Dos Cabezas.

Among those who will cherish her memory include her daughter Subie and husband John S. Hazelton, son Dr. Thomas A. Hennigan III and wife Karen, daughter Dr. Anne M. Hennigan and husband Gary Culbertson, and son Timothy J. Hennigan and wife Lisa.

Susan is also survived by grandchildren John Hazelton, Jr. and wife Camilla, Taylor Rachel and husband Josh, Michael Hennigan and wife Nicole, Christopher and Shelley Culbertson, Sean, Devin and Kelly Hennigan.

She served as a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels, the Scottsdale Public Library and was a master bridge player.

A visitation will be held at Messinger Indian School Mortuary 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 7 p.m. Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Scottsdale on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Internment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks any memorials be placed in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice. Additionally, the family asks all to celebrate Susan''s life by sharing a good Irish joke with another friend in her honor!
