Hospital Corpsman U.S. Navy, Vietnam War-Corpsman Eunice was killed in action by small arms fire on 7-18-1966 while serving as a Corpsman during Operation Hastings with H&S Co. of the 3rd Battalion of the 4th Marine Regiment of the 3rd Marine Division.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Otis Eunice of Galesburg, Illinois, and for a short time in Hannibal, Missouri. He is a 1962 graduate of Hannibal H.S. because his father was with the Burlington R.R. as a Dispatcher. He left during his sophomore year at Galesburg H.S. Seaman Eunice did his training at Great Lakes Naval Center, and at a Marine Hospital in North Carolina.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Corpsman Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal.
