MRS. HENRY KARL DIES MONDAY NOON
Sister of Local People Succumbs in Columbus Hospital
Local relatives have receive word of the death of Mrs. Henry Karl of Kenton, which occured in a Columbus hospital, Monday afternoon, after and extended illness. She was a native of Wyandot County and formerly resided at Carey.
Mrs. Karl, whose maiden name was Emma Courtad, was born in Salem Twp. in 1878, the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Myers) Courtad. She is survived by her husband, Henry Karl, one daughter, Mrs. Hugh Showe of Columbus; one step-daughter, Mrs. Wayne Morehouse, Crestline, and a step-son, Sgt. Francis Karl with the U. S. Army who is stationed in Utah; also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Odella Hagenmaier and Mrs. Clara Grundtisch of this city, Cletus, Leo and Helen Courtad of Carey, Sylvester of Cleveland and Eva of Toledo. One sister, Mrs. Eunice Krupp died in 1939.
Relatives from this section expect to attend the funeral, which will be held in the church of the Immaculate Conception in Kenton, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Carey.
