Her husband was Thomas Edwards Paxton (B: October 26, 1821 Hempstead County, Arkansas D: October 13, 1874 Coushatta, Red River Parish, Louisiana). He was appointed first District Attorney of Red River Parish in 1871.
She moved to Pass Christian in 1918 to be with her daughters.
