In response to questions concerning memorials for Mack Duffy & Emma Caroline Reece McClure ...
McClure descendants/researchers show his given name as being "McDuffie" McClure.

A. D. McClure & Emma Reece married May 7, 1896, Gilmer Co, GA; Bk 4, Pg 68

Using Reece info re burial location of this couple, no "McClure" was found at this cemetery. However, a search for given name of Emma resulted in "Emma C. Duffy" & husband "Mack Duffy" with dates of birth & death closely matching those provided by the two families. The original memorials had been created from old genealogical and/or cemetery listings picked up at an estate sale. The memorials were updated to add the surname of McClure and exact dates of birth & death as provided by the McClure & Reece families.

In Oct of 2012, these grave markers were located in a family plot where the surname of "McClure" appears only on a large stone on opposite side of the plot. Thank you, Sue, for adding the photos!
