She was born Oct. 28, 1885 in Farmington WI to Jacob Raithel b Feb 20 1862 d Aug 25 1937 in an auto accident and buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Johnson Creek WI, and Barbara Bienfang, daughter of Johann Christoph and Anna Barbara (Weiss) Bienfang, b April 7 1863 d Aug 26 1948. Hattie was a Red Cross nurse during WWI and died during the flu epidemic. She had a military funeral. She was unwed.
