Death: Apr. 6, 1825

Kentucky State Representative; Garrard County; 1803. State Senator 1804-1806. The first Lincoln County surveyor, he was comissioned in 1781.Daniel Boone was made Deputy surveyor under him in 1783. He was the nephew of Isaac Shelby. First Lieutenant with the 12th Virginia Militia Revolutionary War. Wagon Master Continental Line Kentucky Militia Revolutionary War. Trustee of Kentucky Academy 1794, and the Lancaster Academy 1798. (bio by: deby blackstone)
