Mary J. Rader, wife of Isaac Rader of paralysis at 7 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her son, R. H. Rader, 803 Moro street. Mrs. Rader was 88 years old. .
Mary J. Chambers was born in Monmouth county New Jersey, June 22, 1820. When yet a child she moved to Indiana and on November 27, I841, was married to Isaac Rader. Together they made their home in Indiana until 1889 when they came to Kansas, locating in Sumner county. They resided there until two years ago when they came to Manhattan to make their home with their son.
Mrs. Rader was the mother of nine children, five of whom are living, Mrs. Margaret M. Norman of Indiana, J. C and Geo. W. Rader of Morris county and John B. and R. H. Rader of this city, She also leaves an aged husband who will years be 90 years old Februrary 28.
Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Bright tomorrow morning at 10:00 from the Methodist church.

Mary Jane Chambers Rader was born in Monmouth, New Jersey. She married Isaac Rader in Rising Sun, Indiana on November 19, 1838. I also found the wedding date as Nov. 19, 1841. They had nine children:
(1)Margaret Anna Rader b. Oct. 05, 1842, Patricksburg, Owen County, Indiana; d. Aug. 18, 1931, Patricksburg, Indiana – Married Josiah Norman
(2) Job Chambers Rader, b. Aug. 22, 1844, Patricksburg, Owen County, Indiana; d April 09. 1925, Council Grove, Morris County, Kansas
(3) John B Rader, b. May, 1846, Owen County, Indiana; d 1932, Kelso, Kansas; m. Clindra Hinton, Aug. 05, 1869, Owen County, Indiana,
(4) Timothy S. Rader, b. March 14, 1848, Owen County; d. Oct. 30, 1874; m. Nancy E Law, Aug. 02, 1874, Owen Co. (killed in a sawmill explosion along with brother William Z.)
(5) Hiram Rader, b.1850, Owen Co. Indiana; d, August 1902, Mayfield, KS.
(6)Josephus Rader, b. Jan 14, 1852; d. Sept. 23, 1872 (assume birth and death to be in Owen County, Indiana as brother born in 1850 and brother born in 1854 were born in Owen County, Indiana)
(7) George Washington Rader, b. April 16, 1854, Patricksburg, Owen County, Indiana; d. Dec. 26, 1938, Morris County, KS
(8) William Z. Rader, b.Jan. 17, 1856, Owen Co. Indiana; d. Oct. 30, 1874, Owen Co., Indiana (sawmill blew up)
(9) Robert Harrison Rader, b. Feb. 27, 1859, Owen Co., Indiana; d. May 25, 1912 near Wellington, KS (home was really Manhattan, KS); m. Sarah Harsh, May 31, 1879
