Services for Mrs. Lottie H. Moore, 53, Hilltop Village, who died Sunday at 12:30 a.m. at Major Hospital, was on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hauk-Spencer Mortuary in Morristown, Rev. Arlace Duncan officiated and burial was in Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore had been in ill health for some time and critical since Sept. 1 when she was hospitalized. She was an employe of Cinch Manufacturing Co. here for more than 23 years.
Born in Germany 16 Apr 1916, the daughter of William Frederick and Hilda M. Balting, Mrs. Moore came to the U.S. with her parents at the age of 6 and resided in Freeport while her parents operated the mill located there. She was married to Jesse L. Moore on 20 Sep 1933 and he died in may 1955.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Betty) Uphaus, Batesville, and Mrs. Richard (Patty) Sleeth, Shelbyville; two sisters, Mrs. Erna Gobel, Freeport, and Mrs. Vince (Margaret) Walka, Woodland Hill, Calif.; a brother, Paul Balting, Shelbyville, and eight grandchildren. One sister preceded in death.
