Donald A. Michaels, age 54 of Elyria, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at his home following a long illness.

He was born March 19, 1951 in Lorain, he had resided in Elyria the past 4 years moving from Lorain.

He was a member of Church of the Open Door, Elyria and the UAW Local 425.

Mr. Michaels served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

He retired from Ford Motor Company, Lorain Assembly Plant in 2001 after 26 years.

He enjoyed traveling, loved sports cars and was an avid Nascar fan.

Surviving are 4 Sisters, Donna Hrdlicka of Avon, Georgia Pacheco of Elyria, Carol Reynolds of Lorain, Betty Tenoshok of Lorain; 4 brothers, Ira Timothy, William, Raymond and Larry Stull all of Lorain; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Ira and Lillian Stull, two brothers, John and Michael Stull, one sister Faye Bellamy.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Friday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Rick Chapman, Assoc. Pastor of Church of the Open Door and John Gessic, Pastor of Lafayette United Methodist Church co-officiating.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, where Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9871 will conduct full military honors.
