Sarah Church was married to Jeremiah Pool in Richland Co. Ohio on Feb. 20, 1823. She is believed to be the daughter of William Church, a veteran of the War of 1812. A small marker with the name 'Mother' lies just south of the grave stones of Ethan and Jeremiah Pool; since neither of Ethan Pool's wives are believed to be buried with him, this marker is possibly Mariah's. Mariah spent her final years living with her daughter and son-in-law, Edward and Mary Frisbie, in Bridgewater twp. Sarah died of 'Gall Stones', but more likely from simple old age.
