They had one son: Pastor James 'Jim' (Alathea) Blischke, First Presbyterian Church, Monahans, TX, born Sept 30, 1936, who attended Elgin HS '54; Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL 1955-1956; & Monmouth College, IL 1957-1959; and three grandchildren by Jimmy & Joann Dillow Koski.

The name on his birth certificate dated Nov 25, 1907, Morton Grove, Illinois, was Simon Franz Carl Blischke.

He was born to Charles Blischke (born Germany - died in 1917) & Bertha (Karsten) Blischke (born Germany), married 1890, immigrated 1892. Bertha remarried 1920 to Adam Wolfrem (Electrician, Bus Line, 1920 Census - 1930 Census Bertha "Blischke" returned to Chicago with Simon (22) & Elsie).
