Haydon Stewart, 91, 312 N. Miller St., died Thursday afternoon, 25 Nov 1982, at W. S. Major Hospital, where he had been a patient 53 days.
A retired barber, Mr. Stewart had resided in Shelbyville, Indiana since 1968, moving here from Cincinnati. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Mr. Stewart was born in Garrison, Ky., on 25 Nov 1891. He first married Stella Vogt, sister of Henrietta Vogt Forster, who died 4 Nov 1962. In 1963 he married Emily (Neu) Worland, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Sherman Stewart, Lake City, Fla.; a stepson and stepdaughter, Jack Worland, Shelbyville, and Mrs. Bryan (Donna) Toll, R. R. 3 Shelbyville; two granchildren; seven step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Murphy Mortuary, with the Rev. James Horner officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Cincinnati. Friends called a t the mortuary from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday
