Earl Beaumont Forster, of 118 W. Hendricks St., died at 6:30 a. m. Saturday at his home after a long illness. He was 55 years old.
Born in Shelbyville 5 Mar 1892, the son of Charley and Leora (Carroll) Forster, he was united in marriage in 1910 to Henrietta Vogt at Cincinnatti, O. The widow survived with three children, Mrs. Bernard (Ava Mae) Wright, of Waldron; Mrs. Stanley (Thelma) Baker, of Shelbyville, and Norman C. Forster of Mt. Pleasant, Mich. He is survived by five grandchildren and a cousin, Russell Forster, of Shelbyville.
Deceased spent most of his life in Shelbyville but lived a few years at Rome, GA. He was a cabinet maker by trade.
Mr. Forster was a nephew of Frank Forster, who at one time was interested in the Conrey & Forster factory here.
Funeral services were held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Charles M. Ewing mortuary with the Rev. Richard Rasche officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill cemetery.
