Death: Oct. 21, 1864

Enlisted in Company H of the Fourth Michigan Volunteer Infantry on February 20, 1862, for 3 years. On detached service with Company H of the First Michigan Infantry, by order, July 2, 1864, Petersburg, Virginia. Died on October 20, 1864, at Lincoln Hospital, Washington D.C. of wounds received in action at Poplar Church, Virginia, September 30, 1864.
