Emmy Award-winning television and film actress from Kingston, Jamaica best known for her roles on the miniseries "Roots"(1977),"Trapper John MD" and "Coming To America." Her final film role was the voice of the Lion Queen in Disney's "The Lion King" (1994). Sinclair died in Los Angeles in 1995 after a long courageous battle with leukemia.
