Sr Mary Rose, age 99, of Ridgely, died at Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at St Gertrude's Infirmery.
She was born January 06, 1903 in Kaldorf, Bavaria, Germany, the daughter of the late Mathias Nieberle and the late Carolina (Engelhard) Nieberle. She is survived by Sister Leonilda and Sister Laetare, Sr Ida Nieberle, and other nieces in Germany.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Sr Rose served all 78 years with the Benedictine Sisters in Ridgely MD since she entered the order on November 28, 1923. She took her final vows on July 11, 1928 at the St Gertrudes Monastery, Ridgely, MD. She celebrated her Diamond Jubilee on July 11, 1985.
Visitation will be held at St Gertrude's Monastery and Funeral services were celebrated on January 26, 2002. Burial followed at St Gertrude's Cemetery on Saturday, January 26, 2002.
