Else Kloepfer, 97, of Nampa, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007 at a local care facility. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007, preceded by viewing from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kuna Stake Center, 3305 W. Kuna Road at Black Cat. Burial will follow at Kohlerlawn Cemetery in Nampa. Else was born June 30, 1909 in Goepping, Germany to Johannes and Anna Marie Hoerger and was reared and educated there. She came to the United States in 1948 and has resided in the Nampa area ever since. Else married Henry P. Kloepfer in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1967. Else was a people person who cared much about others, and made friends very easily. She was active in the L.D.S. church – she served two missions, worked in the genealogical library, and was involved in the Young Womenīs Organization. Else liked to crochet, knit, bake, make crafts, and research genealogy. She is survived by her son Henry E. “Hank” Kloepfer and his wife Joyce Kloepfer of Nampa, and many dearly beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three stepdaughters Elzina Thornton, Leanida Morgan, Naomi Roberts; stepson Lionel Kloepfer; sister Anna Riecker and brothers Otto and Hans Hoerger.
