James Lee Ostler 78, of Frankfort, IN, died at 3:35 a.m. February 27, 2013 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born April 7, 1934 in Lafayette to the late Wilbert & Dicy (Eaton) Ostler. He married Darlus Forlow on November 15, 1957 in Frankfort and she survives.

Mr. Ostler was a 1953 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. He worked for Ameritech retiring in 1993 after 30 years. After his retirement he spent 9 years working at the Clinton County YMCA. James was a longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was currently attending the Frankfort Bible Holiness Church. He was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers.

Survived by his wife, Darlus Oster of Frankfort; 2 Step Brothers, Lanny (Mary Alice) Moore of Frankfort and Gene (Barbara) Moore of Poland, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Frankfort Bible Holiness Church.

Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
