Samuel G. Campbell, 69, a resident of Liberty Township, died at his home one mile southwest of Selma yesterday morning at 4:10 o'clock after an extended illness. He was born at the home where he passed away. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Merrill Lukens of Anderson, and three sons, Frank, Clyde and Chester Campbell. The funeral services will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Bortsfield Cemetery. Married: Louisa Keefer Children: George, Merle (Lukens), Frank, Clyde, and Chester.
Samuel grew to manhood on the home farm and for several years followed farming in Delaware county. He then moved to Blackford county, where he bought a farm and carried it on for a number of years, after which he moved to Muncie.
