Karen Lynne Siegel, 66, of Rushville, IL passed away at 11:50 a.m., Tue., Sept. 29, 2009 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born Wed. Nov. 11, 1942 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Howard & Lena Roberts Humphrey. She married Darrell Dean Siegel April 27, 1968 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1992.
She is survived by two daughters; Deanna "Dee" Snurr & Brad of Sedalia, MO, Tracy Keithley & Jim of Beardstown, IL, two sons; Troy Siegel of Rushville, IL, Greg Siegel & Dawniele of Rushville, IL, ten grandchildren, four step grandchildren, one brother; Richard "Dick" Humphrey & Barb of Secor, IL.
Karen worked in food service at WIU in Macomb, retiring in April 2007. She was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Rushville and enjoyed reading, crafts, shopping & her grandchildren.
Services were entrusted to Worthington Funeral Home of Rushville, Illinois.
