Ole Pedersen Ohre married Johanna Christiansdr on 30 Oct 1867 in Fåberg, Norway.

They arrived in to America with their daughter Anne on 8 Jun 1869 via New York on the Ship the Britannia. Their port of Departure: Glasgow, Scotland and Londonderry, Ireland

Their children were: Anne, Peter, Elice, Julia, Marie, Clara, Olga, Oscar, Melvin and Adolph.

Ole and Johanna Ohre came to LaCrosse when they came over from Norway. They walked from there carrying all their possessions and a sick baby to Berge's home in Martell Township. These two families came from the same part of Norway and were related.

The Ohres settled on a farm in Ellsworth Township and later bought a farm in Martell Township.
