BROKEN BOW, OKLA. Services for Eddie Hamilton, 65, of Broken Bow will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brumley-McCurtain Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-McCurtain Funeral Home.
He died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
He was born May 12, 1935, in Ralls. He married Kay Hervey on June 6, 1971, in Paris, Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had lived in the Broken Bow area for the past 25 years, moving there from Texas.
He was former president of Broken Bow Lions Club and Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce. He was the 1980 Broken Bow Citizen of the Year and a former board member of American State Bank and McCurtain County Emergency Medical Services. He maintained a 69-mile bluebird trail for 10 years and received the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Award in 1997. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Dennis of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Rebecca Jean Brown of Paris, Texas, and Lisa Renee' Good of Flower Mound; a brother, Freddie of Broken Bow; two sisters, Mary Jo Gladden of Brownwood and Pat Littlejohn of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.
