Services for Brian T. Hauk, 32, of rural Hanna City, who was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hanna City United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Skinner will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Patterson Funeral Home, Elmwood. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

He died from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident on Illinois Route 116 near Hanna City.

Born March 3, 1965, in Peoria to Theodore T. and Nancy Hollis Hauk, he married Tina White on Feb. 14, 1992, in Hanna City. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother of rural Hanna City; one son, Jacob, and one daughter, Kate Hauk , both at home; one brother, Dean of rural Hanna City; and grandmothers, Marge Dwyer of Elmwood and Cecelia Hauk of Brimfield. His father and grandfathers preceded him in death.

He graduated from Farmington High School in 1983. He was a sanitation engineer at Browning-Ferris Industries in Peoria. He was a member of Teamsters Local 627. He was a 15-year volunteer for Logan-Trivoli Fire Protection District and served as their assistant chief since June 1997. He was a member of the Illinois Firefighters Association.
