Lily Mae Ward Havis, 96, of Longview, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012, in a local nursing facility. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 18, 2012, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend David English officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park.
Lily was born in Oklahoma to the late Greenberry and Anna Patterson Dodd. She married Lawrence Ward in May 1933. She was a homemaker, an avid hunter and golfer, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Longview.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Ward; her second husband, Dutch Havis; and a grandson, David Ward.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Bellatti and husband, Chuck, of Longview; sons, Larry Ward and wife, Evelyn, of Kerrville, TX, and Ron Ward and wife, Dez, of Marcola, OR; grandchildren: Doug Bellatti and wife, Angie, Karen Fleet and husband, Michael, Rick Bellatti and wife, Shana, Robin Learn, Daniel Ward, Tawni Ward, Kurt Ward, and Chris Ward; 15 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
