Mr. Stewart was a pipe inspector for the Robert W. Hunt Company 35 years. He died on Friday at a local hospital after a long illness.
He was a member of the Woodlawn Methodist Church, was a past master of East Birmingham Lodge No. 828, A. F. & A. M.; past high priest of Woodlawn chapter No. 146 R. A. M.; past illustrious master of Woodlawn Council No. 71, R. & S. M.
He was commander of Woodlawn Commandery No. 31, K. T.
He is survived by his widow, three daughters and one sister.
