Kathleen Vlasta Stodola Gale Barnett, 69, of Chattanooga, Tenn., lost her battle with lung cancer on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, but received her miracle in going home to the Lord.
Survivors include: her husband, Michael Barnett; children, Jon (Kim) Gale, Lora (Bob) Pratt, Bobbie Lewis and Cory Gale; brothers, Milo (Linda) Stodola and Leroy (Mary Ann) Stodola; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous friends and family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Rudy and Kate Stodola.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Regional Church of God, 2214 E. 17th St., in Chattanooga. The Rev. Jerry Davis will conduct the service at 1 p.m. in the church. Interment will follow the service at Freehills Cemetery in Rosalie, Ala.
A memorial service also will be held Feb. 16 in Fremont. The time and location will be announced at a later date.
