Mary Baker, 92 passed away April 8, 2013 to be present with the Lord. Born in Memphis, Mary was a devoted wife and mother of three. She was a lover and giver to all. Mary was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and was known for her dedication and love of her church. She was adored by so many and lived a most joyful and beautiful long life. Knowing her was to be touched by an angel. Her family and friends will never forget her; she will remain in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Katina Stathis, her husband of 38 years, Frank M. Baker and her son James M. Baker. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Baker and Mary Bible; two grandchildren, Cynthia Kalleher (Jay) and Diane Briggs (Billy) and four great grandchildren, Matthew and Daniel Kallaher and William and Michael Briggs. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 12 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 573 N. Highland St., Memphis, TN 38122. The family will receive friends starting at 1 p.m. at the church.
