John Davie Tyus, 86, of Memphis, retired employee of the Corps of Engineers after 49 yeyars, died Saturday, February 8, at St. Francis Hospital. Burial n Memorial Park.
He was a charter member of grimes Memorial United Methodist Church and was also a graduate of Memphis Tech High School.
Mr. Tyus, the husband of Louise Tittsworth Tyus, also leaves a daughter, Doris Kay Solomon of Madison IN; a son, Lynn D. Tyus of Germantown, and four grandchildren.
