Southaven, Mississippi - Thelma V. Andrews, 85, passed away May 19, 2009 at DeSoto Healthcare Center in Southaven. She was a longtime resident of Memphis before recently moving to Olive Branch. She was a charter member of Oakhaven Methodist Church and a current member of Mineral Wells Methodist. She was preceded in death by her parents Susie and Eugene Andrews, Sr., a brother E. K. "Bubber" Andrews, Jr., sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Andrews and Eula Andrews. She was a retiree of Sears Roebuck and Company after over 40 years and was a member of the Memphis Porcelain Society. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, Tommy Andrews of Memphis; nephews, Carl "Buddy" Andrews (Lana) of Olive Branch, Steve Andrews of Memphis; nieces Debbie Anderson (Roger) of Olive Branch, Bonnie Plunkett of Olive Branch, great-nieces Jaime O'Bar (Ben), Betsy Miller (Frank), Jennifer Adams (Mike), Ashley Hayden, great-great nieces and nephew, Kaylee Hayden, Alden Miller, Addie Kate O'Bar, Drew Adams, and Greenlee Adams and a host of family and friends. She put her absolute devoted love of her family above all else. She loved deeply and will be missed by all who knew her kind heart, gentle, caring spirit and sweet smile. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
