Funeral services for James Patterson Heiskell, 58, who has operated a stock ranch west of Bozeman for the past 36 years, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel. He died late Saturday at his home.
Heiskell was born here on November 13, 1900, to Frank Heiskell and Lucy Patterson. He married Mae Louise Cook on July 23, 1929. A daughter preceded him in death.
He was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church.
Survivors, in addition to the widow, include a son, James Franklin Heiskell, who lives west of Bozeman; a sister, Mrs. James (Mariam) Banks, Lumbard, Ill.; a brother, Hugh Heiskell, south of Bozeman; four nephews; several aunts, including Mrs. Harvey Griffin, and Mrs. E. P. Stephenson, both of Bozeman, and several cousins.
Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
