Mae Louise Freeman, 95, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2006, in Bozeman.
Mae was born on October 8, 1911, in Bozeman to John and Margaret (Sales) Cook. She spent her entire life in the Gallatin Valley.
She enjoyed spending time in her garden and canning the things that she grew.
Mae is survived by her son, James (Sen) Heiskell of Bozeman; brother, George (Alice) Cook of Bozeman; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Heiskell in 1959, and second husband, Elwyn Freeman in 1979; and by a daughter, Marian Mae Heiskell in 1942.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to meet at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service at 12:45 p.m. to proceed to the cemetery. Visitation hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Central Valley Fire Fighters Association of Belgrade, MT.
