Funeral services will be Thursday, 2 p.m. at Benton Funderal HOme with Reverend Chet Shaw of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fort Benton.
Herman Cook was born September 7, 1895 at Blairsville, Georgia. He came with his mother, Nancy Cook, to Chouteau County in 1908, his mother homesteading in the Nine Mile section. Herman moved to Fort Benton in 1936, working for the Great Northern Railroad until illness forced his retirement in 1961. He continued to live in Fort Benton until he moved to the Sande Convalescent Home.
His mother died in Fort Benton December 31, 1954.
Survivors are cousins, Oscar and Rene Cook and Mrs. Pauline (Cook) Poindexter.
