Grace loved the beach. Some of her favorite things included seagulls and lighthouses. She was passionate about painting, and dreamed of becoming a painter and living on Martha's Vineyard. One of Grace's favorite personal paintings, a cerulean and lime-green painted owl, was given to President Obama following her death.
Grace was a victim of the tragic events which took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
