Thomas Andrew Frederick, 47, Avon Park, Fla., formerly of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Altoona, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 23, 1996, at Florida Hospital-South, Orlando.
He was born July 7, 1948, in Altoona, the son of Andrew and Irene (Holton) Frederick. He married Karen Stevens Dec. 14, 1968, in Vinco.
Mr. Frederick was a member of Florida Avenue Baptist Church, Avon Park.
He was employed as a monitor in the computer room at South Florida Community College.
Mr. Frederick was a 1966 graduate of Altoona High School and a 1967 graduate of Data Automation Training Center, St. Louis, Mo.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served with the Air Force for 22 years. He retired as chief master sergeant from the Air National Guard Readiness Center, Andrews Air Force Base, in October 1990.
Mr Frederick was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Camp Springs, Md., and a past master counselor with DeMolay.
Surviving are his wife, two sons: William A. of Newport News, Va., and Bryan L., at home; his mother, Irene Corbett of Altoona; a brother, William J. of Waldorf, Md; and a grandson.
Internment will be made in Avon Park.
