b. July 17, 1802, Hampshire co., Virginia. m. December 24, 1828, at Upper Ridge Mtg , Virginia, Leah Bond, b. December 4, 1807, Frederick co., Virginia, the dau. of John III and Rachel ( Lupton) Bond. John and Leah moved to Highland co., Ohio in 1830 and to Hamilton co., Indiana in 1851. Settling at Adas Twp. P.O. Boxley. Ten children were born to this union, all in Ohio.; In April of 1882 the family received cert. and migrated to Fall Creek MM, Indiana, located in Hamilton, co. John d. 1852, at age 50, Bakers Corner, Hamilton co., Indiana, buried at Bakers cemetery; Leah d. in Iowa. Children of John and Leah George - all migrated from Ohio to Fall Creek MM, Hamilton co., Indiana w/parents except Lydia
