🌹Rachel Edith Hale Powel, whom everyone called Aunt Rachel, married John William Powell on 5/23/1914 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio at the Methodist parsonage. Their known children are 1) Cora Alice Powell, born 8/28/1915, Lawrenceville, Ohio, died 1994; 2) Miriam Powell, born 3/4/1917, Lawrenceville, Ohio, deceased; 3) Thomas Herman Powell, born 6/1/1919, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, deceased.
G-Aunt Rachel was a quiet woman. She was a devoted wife and mother and excellent homemaker.
G-Aunt Rachel was very loved and missed by the family. May she always rest in the peace of God.
