Birth: 1833
Ontario, Canada
Death: 1896
Holton
Muskegon County
Michigan, USA

Eldest son of Adam Scott (1812 Canada - D. Bridgeton Newaygo MI) and Tamson Deliia Armstrong (B. 1836 Canada D 1842-45, place of death unknown) Elijah was a well traveled person having lived in first Elgin County Upper Canada (1833-abt 1842-45) with his parents, He then moved to Lennox,Macomb County MI when he was abt 12 yrs old, where he lived with his Aunt/step mother, father and next to his Uncle Charles and Aunt Caroline Scott. Elijah next can be found living with his first wife Eliza Jane Cole in Lapeer MI in 1860. Most of his life was spent with his second wife Adella. He and the family can be found in Butler County Nebraska in the 1880 Census. But it seems home was Cedar Creek Holton Township Muskegon MI.

Note that Melvin Scott and his first and second wives appear in the same family burial plot with Adella and Elijah. Melvin Scott is believed to be the cousin of Elijah Scott.
