GASSAWAY - Andrew Nottingham 83, of Strange Creek, died Thursday night at home after a long illness.
Mr. Nottingham was a retired railroad trackman. He was a member of Strange Creek Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Dale of Duck, Robert of Barberton, Ohio, and Brooks of Strange Creek, three daughters, Mrs. Clara Samples of Birch River, Mrs. Emma Nottingham of Strange Creek and Mrs. Nealie Keener of Ivydale; 41 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Strange Creek Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Strange Creek Cemetery under the direction of Bartlett Funeral Home here. The body is at the funeral home.
