Patrick Traynor Chilton Times October 29, 1887
It becomes our painful duty, this week, to chronicle the death of Patrick Traynor, one of the pioneers of Russell, Sheboygan county, who died on Monday, Oct. 25th. The deceased was a native of Ireland and was born in the year 1805. In 1833 he emigrated to America with his wife and two children, locating in Monroe County, N.Y., remaining there until 1838 in which year he again returned to his early home. Adverse circumstances, the cause of nearly all emigration, forced him to again cross the ocean, and in 1847 he again became a resident of New York State. In 1853 he came west and settled in Russell, Sheboygan county, which town has since been his home. The deceased leaves eight children and other relatives to mourn his loss, as well as many friends.
