Deceased was a daughter of John P. and Adelia Allen, of Gravesville; she was born in Orleans County, N. Y., moved to this county with her parents in 1867 and settled at Stockbridge; she was married about two years. The bereaved husband is a son of Hon. Cicero Close, of Blackhawk Co., Iowa.
