Twelve children were born to this marriage: Alexander [1891-1896], Maria [Jan-Oct 1894], Infant Son [Aug-Sep 1895], Alexander [1897-1901], Johann Jacob, Carl, and Reinhold, all born in Kolb; Martha, born in Ames, Iowa; Fred William, born in Campbell, Nebraska; Clara, Marie, and Alexander Benjamin, born in Tacoma, Washington.
