The War Department has announced the Lieut. Henry Clay Dunavant, 30, brother of Mrs. William Orr of Blytheville, AR, and formerly of Memphis, was killed in Belgium on January 30. He was with a paratroop infantry unit.
Lieutenant Dunavant saw action in the last 17 months in North Africa, Italy, France, Holland, Germany and Belgium.
He also leaves a wife and two year-old daughter, Linda of Canton, NC; and a brother, Leonard Dunavant of Dellwood, NC.
