Parents: Silas L. Davis, b. VT, d. WI; and Phoebe (Bennett) DAVIS.
Spouse: Sarah Ann Brooks, bn ME.

"Rev. Kinsman R. Davis, a brother of Rev. J. E. Davis [Jarius E], assisted in gathering the LaFayette Quarterly Meeting (QM) at its organization, about 1850.
His ministry was chiefly spent in Wisconsin, a part of the time in the Rock and Dane QM, until about 1869, when he moved to Nebraska, where he has since been connected with the Salem church." --Free Baptist Cyclopedia, pub. 1889, by Burgess and Ward.

Rev. Kinsman Davis and Sarah Ann, had four children on census, possibly there were others:
