Alfred Robert Habben, 65, of Rural Sterling, passed away at his home last evening (October 9, 1967) after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the West Jordan Lutheran Church, with burial in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Friends may call at the Woodin Funeral Home, Milledgeville, after 7 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial has been established in his name for the west Jordan Lutheran Church.

Alfred Habben was born December 2, 1902, in Sterling, the son of Aeve and Hulda Schultz Habben. He lived in Coleta and Sterling area all of his life. He married Marie Meiners in 1927 in Sterling. He was a member of the West Jordan Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, ; two sons
