LeRoy E. Cooper, 67, of 903 North street, a retired city of Burlington employee, died in Burlington Memorial hospital at 4:30 a.m. Friday, January 26.
Mr. Cooper was a native of Marion and was born October 27, 1904, the son of Carl Leslie and Anna Lee Riley Cooper. He married Helen Hatt August 5, 1926, at Marion.
Mr. Cooper was a member of First United Presbyterian church of Marion and of the Masonic lodge and the Eagles.
The wife survives.
Funeral: Murdoch funeral home, Marion, Monday at 1:30; Oak Shade cemetery, Marion.
