Pvt. U.S. Army, World War 2-Pvt. Henerhoff was killed in action by small arms fire in France on 6-26-1944 while serving with the Infantry.
His parents are dead, and he is the husband of Mrs. Vivian Rickert Henerhoff of Peoria, Illinois, and they both came to Peoria, and he was employed at Caterpillar before his enlistment on December 3, 1943, and did his training in Macon, Georgia.
He leaves two brothers, Arthur of Peoria, and Herman of Hamilton, Illinois, and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Bullard of Hamilton.
Awards: Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, European Campaign Medal with One Battle Star, WWII Victory Medal.
Footnote: His body was sent home for burial on April 3, 1949.
