Lucy, 94, Fairfield Glade, TN, formerly Ottoville, died at Cumberland Medical Center.
She was a daughter to Louis W. and Emma (Brinkman) Ricker. On Sep 29, 1937, in Ottoville, she married Cletus "Click" Horstman, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald L. (Marilyn), Fairfield Glade, and Dennis (Nancy), Chapel Hill, NC; ten grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son James R. (Pearl); two brothers, Rudolph and John; and a sister, Agnes Horstman.
She and her family lived in Cleveland from 1940 and 1950 and chose to return to their hometown area to raise their children and be closer to other family members. After retirement from GTE Sylvania Electric, Ottawa, she and her husband were active in playing cards, making craft items, sewing and baking pies, which earned her the nickname of "The Pie Lady." She moved with her son and daughter-in-law to Fairfield Glade in 2002 and continued to play euchre with her new friends and complete word puzzle books. She was recently a resident of the Cumberland Ridge Assisted Living in Crossville, Tenn., and the family is thankful for her fulfilling experiences there.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. The body has been cremated.
