. He was in the orange business for years, having come from Colorado where he worked as a cowboy.
He was the son of Joseph and Mary Elmina Bray, both of whom who died young of TB. He and his four siblings were raised by their grandfather, David Alonzo Curtis of Monroe Co, Michigan.
