Funeral services for Abram L. Van Siclen of 88-78 193d St., Hollis, a member of an old Brooklyn and Jamaica family, will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Stutzmann Funeral Home, 224-39 Jamaica Ave., Queens Village. Burial will be in the family plot in Flushing Cemetery.

Mr. Van Siclen, who was 50 last Aug. 23, died yesterday. He was a civil engineer for the Texas Company. He was born on the old Van Siclen farm in Jamaica, the son of Peter N. and Ella A. Van Siclen. He was a grandson of the late Abraham Van Siclen, former vice president and for many years a trustee of the Bank of Long Island, who was born and lived all his life on the Jamaica farm. The Van Siclen family were among the pioneer Dutch settlers in New Lots.

At the time of his marriage, Mr. Van Siclen moved to Richmond Hill and then moved to the Hollis address in 1919. He was a member of Hollis Lodge, 992, F. & A. M., of which he was past master, and a member of the Holland Society of New York and the St. Nicholas Society.

He is survived by his wife, S. Claire, and his parents.
